# Map and forecast notices

Forecasts are informational. Check current weather and travel conditions before you go. Distances are straight-line distances, not driving distances.

## Map data and style

The map uses [OpenMapTiles](https://openmaptiles.org/) and [OpenStreetMap](https://www.openstreetmap.org/copyright) data. OpenStreetMap data is available under the [Open Database License 1.0](https://opendatacommons.org/licenses/odbl/1-0/).

The map uses the [OSM Liberty style](https://github.com/maputnik/osm-liberty), provided by [OpenFreeMap Styles](https://github.com/hyperknot/openfreemap-styles), with wandero color changes. Its design derives from OSM Bright and is licensed under [Creative Commons Attribution 4.0](https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/).

The map loads from [OpenFreeMap](https://openfreemap.org/). While the map is displayed, your browser requests map resources from that service.
